Q: When and where can I take the class?
A: Classes are held at the Minneapolis location on Saturday/Sunday. Classes held in greater Minnesota are subject to electrical licensing exam scheduling. Class time for both days is 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. To view a list of upcoming class click here.


Q: What do I get when I take the class?
A: When MEA receives your payment, you will receive an electrical exam prep class workbook, highlighter, a calculator (the same model used in the exam) and a copy of the State Board Rules & Regulations. Morning and afternoon refreshments will be served during class.


Q: Do I need anything else for this class?
A: The current NEC code book is strongly recommended for class. Order online or call MEA at (612) 827-6117 or (800) 829-6117 to order.


Q: When do I take the exam?
A:

Q: Can I re-take the class if I fail the exam?
A:
YES, you can take this class again one time at a reduced rate if you fail your exam (within one year of your first class date). Members: $100 and Nonmembers: $150
