John Rajkowski, MN DLI… From Ken Peterson, MN DLI Commissioner: “I’m sad to inform you that John Rajkowski, long-time DLI Government Affairs Director, passed away due to the combined effects of cancer and a liver disorder. John worked for the state of Minnesota for 21 years. The past 11 years were at DLI and at DEED before then. He was a skillful lobbyist and developed strong relations with legislators, their staff, and other lobbyists. One result was the agency often had greater success winning support for its’ policy and budgetary proposals. One achievement that John was particularly proud was passage of complicated legislation bringing together the various units of CCLD in 2006-07. Because of his good spirited and gregarious personality, John had many friends in DLI and elsewhere. He will be greatly missed.”
Congratulations
