FanMaster™ Energy Saving Package (23-FANM)

Lesco and their represented brand, Kidde, would like to remind everyone about the recent Minnesota State law that mandates all single-family homes (new and existing) to have a CO Detector within 10 feet of every sleeping room. The next phase of the law has the same requirement for multifamily homes or apartments, and that is effective August 1, 2009. Sometimes the best way to comply with this requirement is to replace the existing hallway smoke alarm with the Kidde combination smoke and CO detector (model 900-0114). In addition to the 85 db horn in the units it activates a voice alarm that will tell the occupants that it is being activated by “Fire” or “Warning, Carbon Monoxide.” This can provide life saving minutes to determine your course of action when the units alarm.

Cooper Bussmann

The Cooper Bussmann® Quik-Spec™ Coordination Panelboard is EC&M Magazine’s 2009 product of the year for power distribution equipment (panelboards).

The Quik-Spec Panelboard offers flexible configurations, increased safety and easier specification. It also greatly simplifies selective coordination per NEC requirements in a fully fused system by following published fuse ampacity ratios between upstream and downstream fuses. With the same footprint as conventional circuit breaker panelboards, the Quik-Spec panelboard utilizes the finger-safe CUBEFuse in a UL 98 ampacity-rejecting Compact Circuit Protector Base disconnect. Available in a NEMA 1 or 3R enclosure with 18, 30 or 42 branch positions and main options up to 200 amps with main lug, or fused and non-fused disconnect. Expanded CCP Line – Now Up To 60 Amps Protection in Less Space
With three times the protection in one-third the space of equivalent circuit breakers, the Cooper Bussmann® Compact Circuit Protector (CCP) is smaller, simpler, and better. The expanded CCP line up now uses the finger-safe Low-Peak® CUBEFuse up to 60 amps. At one-third the space required by a molded case circuit breaker and two-thirds the space required by a traditional fusible switch, the UL 98 CCP saves panel space while offering an unprecedented 200kA short-circuit current rating and interrupting rating. Eaton Corporation now offers multiple lighting and load control solutions for specific applications. Eaton’s industry-leading Pow-R-Command™ lighting control systems turn off the lights when a space is empty, and reduce artificial lighting when natural light is strong. These systems typically reduce lighting energy consumption from 10-30%. The Pow-R-Command™ 1000 system is ideal for large, medium and small building applications. The Pow-R-Command panelboard mounts the same as traditional panelboards. Power and branch wiring is also the same. It can be applied to distribution systems rated 1-phase 3-wire and 3-phase 4-wire 120, 120/240, 208Y/120 and 480Y/277V AC.
