Membership
MEA is a trade association that supports and promotes Electrical Contractors licensed in Minnesota. It also strives to educate, inform, and improve members of the Electrical Industry as a whole. To further these goals MEA offers a number of different member categories; these include, Minnesota licensed Electrical and Technology Systems Contractors, individuals involved with the electrical industry, contractors licensed in other states, corporations that provide contractors with products and services, and corporations that employ electrical maintenance staff. General Membership
General Members are Minnesota licensed and bonded electrical contractors that range in size from one-person shops to businesses with over a million in gross sales volume.
Corporate Membership
Corporate Members employ a master electrician or licensed maintenance personnel.
Technology System (Power Limited) Membership
Power Limited members are Minnesota licensed technology systems contractors that range in size from one-person shops to businesses with over a million in gross sales volume.
Affiliate Membership
Affiliate Members are employees of member companies who wish to receive individual benefits.
Associate Membership
Associate Members are individuals or companies who are not eligible for other membership categories (i.e. students, contractors in surrounding states, inspectors).
Product Service Membership
Product Service Members are vendors, distributors, and manufacturer representatives who provide products and or services to electrical contractors.
