Electrician Certification in Colorado

The Electrical Association has the resources for people interested in renewing their electrician license in Colorado with continuing education courses. 

If you hold any of the electrical licenses below in Colorado, you need continuing education credits!

Colorado Statute 
• CE hours must be completed during the license or registration period.

• Verify your Colorado licenses and credits now. Search the CO database.

Continuing education hours must be selected from among the Core Competencies below in any combination. A minimum of four hours is required in National Electrical Code Changes. No more than four hours will be credited in safety courses related to the electrical industry; however, there is not a requirement to take courses in safety training. 
    A.  Grounding and Bonding
    B.  National electrical Code changes (minimum of four hours required)
    C.  Wiring methods
    D.  Theory and calculations
    E.  Safety related to the electrical industry (four hours maximum)

How to Meet Your Requirement

Colorado Board of Electricity requires you as the license holder, to submit your credits with the Certificate of Completion once you have completed the course. Our classroom & online training are approved for continuing education by the Colorado State Electrical Board.
