Join Us at Breezy!

Pinch me now—we are meeting again in person next month! And what better time for it to be than summer. I have some of the fondest memories from summer get togethers with Electrical Association members. Whether we have been in Fair Hills, Alexandria, the Metro or Breezy Point, everyone always has a good time at the summer conference. This year, we will be heading back up to Breezy Point Resort for a weekend of relaxation and connection.

You are invited to join us! Registration is now open, and we would love to have members who have been to every conference, members who haven’t been for a while, members who have been wanting to but haven’t taken the leap yet as well as non-members who want to learn more about the Association and how they could benefit from this amazing group.

Friday night will be filled with catching up with friends and meeting new ones while we have pizza, play lawn games and enjoy each other’s company in face-to-face real life! We are all exhausted from zoom meetings, cancelled plans and regulations. Let’s talk about challenges over the past year and what we have learned to make us better moving forward.

Saturday will start off with committee meetings where electrical contractors who have taken leadership roles will get together to make decisions for programs and offerings of the Association’s future. If you are interested in seeing what a committee of ours is all about, member guests are welcomed.

We will enjoy lunch and our keynote speaker, Jack Stahlmann, together—families included. Jack is a storyteller and entertainer.

After lunch, golf foursomes will head out to one of Breezy’s beautiful courses for an afternoon of friendly competition.

To wrap up the night, we will enjoy the Breezy Bell dinner tour on the lake followed by the infamous Elvis performance while docked—unbeatable view.

The weekend is fun for the whole family with kids’ activities and spouse events in the mix.

Bring your family, tell your contractor friends to come, invite your top electricians and their families, too. Treat them with a weekend away to talk business and life with those who “get it.”
