NEC Training

  • Bonding, Grounding, and Over-current (8 hrs; 8 Re-licensing credit hours)
  • Bonding & Grounding—Services & Separately-Derived Systems (8 hrs; 8 Re-licensing credit hours)
  • Motor Controls (4 hrs; 4 Relicensing credit hours)
  • Motor Installation to NEC Requirements (4 hrs; 4 Re-licensing credit hours)
  • NEC (16 hrs; 16 Relicensing credit hours on the 2008 Code)
  • Overcurrent Protection to NEC Requirements (4 hrs; 4 Re-licensing credit hours)
  • Power Limited NEC (8 hrs; 8 Relicensing credit hours)

Exam Prep

  • Electrical Exam Prep Training for Maintenance, Journeyman, and Master Licensing (16 hrs; Re-licensing credit hours are not available)
  • Power Limited Exam Prep Training (32 hrs; Relicensing credit hours are not available)

Safety: NFPA 70E - Training for qualified and unqualified workers

  • Identify and mitigate electrical safety hazards in the workplace
  • Focuses on scope of 70E, conversion of electrical energy in layman terms, document layout, specific terms related to 70E, host/contractor responsibility, training requirements for compliance, electrical safety program, properties of an electrical incident/explosion, requirements if exposed to electrical hazards, use of electrical test equipment, energy control/electrically safe working conditions, lockout/tagout, various approach/boundary requirements, energized work permit/arc flash, PPE, precautions for working around electrical energy, hazard/risk category identification, limits of approach to exposed electrical energy, use of current limiting overcurrent devices, creating and using checklists, and more.
  • 8 hour course based on 2012 NFPA70E
