This class was designed by electrical contractors and industry leaders and created for electricians wishing to take the Electrical Licensing
and Inspection Unit exams and obtain a Journeyman, Master or Maintenance Electrical License. It is an
intense two-day review of the Code taught by industry experts

- Q: When and where can I take the class?

A: Classes are held at theMinneapolis location on Saturday/Sunday.
Classes held in greater Minnesota are subject to electrical licensing exam scheduling.
Class time for both days is 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.
- Q: What do I get when I take the class?
-
A: When MEA receives your payment, you will receive an electrical
exam prep class workbook, highlighter, a calculator (the same model used in the
exam) and a copy of the State Board Rules & Regulations. Morning and afternoon
refreshments will be served during class.
- Q: Do I need anything else for this class?

A: The current NEC code book
is strongly recommended for class. Order online or call MEA at (612) 827-6117 or (800) 829-6117

- Q: When do I take the exam?

A: The electrical licensing exams are scheduled on Wednesdays except

- Q. Can I re-take the class if I fail the exam?

A: YES, you can take this class again one time at a reduced rate if you
fail your exam (within one year of your first class date). Members: $100 and Nonmembers: $150
