Description:  In conjunction with the 2017 NEC and Art. 430, information on the nameplate of a motor is used to specify the requirements for a motor branch circuit installation and a feeder installation. Working with the code and the motor requirements, circuit conductors, short circuit protection, overload protection are sized to meet code requirements.   Motor feeder conductors and short circuit protection are also calculated.  A worksheet is included to help coordinate calculations and code references.
