Building Committee (Ad Hoc)

Responsibilities of the Building Committee  

  1. Regularly inspect the MEA office building for needed repairs and/or changes.


  2. Work with the President to determine if volunteers or professionals should do the work.


  3. Get prices for work to be done. Three bids are required for large jobs.


  4. With help from staff, organize an annual work day in the spring.


  5. All work must stay within the bounds of the budget unless approved by the Board


  6. Present plans and budgets for suggested changes to Board for review and action.
