Who We Are (1-minute video)

Thank you to our video sponsors: Border States, Van Meter, Viking Electric.
Thank you to Nottingham Construction and Noble Electric Solutions for providing the shoot location.

The Electrical Association is a non-profit trade association that was founded in 1928. We are a member-owned service organization that provides information, education, books/forms, and government representation to electrical contractors and their stakeholders.

The Electrical Association supports electrical contractors and electricians throughout Minnesota and all 50 states. It is the voice of assurance for long-term, uncompromising excellence in electrical contracting. Our members range in size from one-person shops to businesses with over $1M in gross sales volume.

The Electrical Association provides leadership in partnering between contractors, government employees and consumers to promote quality construction built safely, on time, on budgets and at a fair price and profit. The Electrical Association provides a strong commitment to quality in education, communication, government relations and ethics.

Beware of Scammers

We understand that you may be contacted by outside companies (spammers) attempting to sell you our attendee lists for the upcoming EA events or our member lists. There has been an uptick in online fraud, and we don't see it going away anytime soon. This is an industry-wide problem, and we are doing everything we can to protect our members.

The bottom line is that we will NEVER EVER EVER sell our customers' information!
Unless the email is coming from one of the below domains it is a scam and you should proceed with caution:
