The single biggest issue facing the construction trades is the development of its future workforce. That workforce will, by necessity, need to look very different from the workforce of the past. The electrical trade has provided many people with a fulfilling, dynamic, and economically satisfying career - at multiple levels from skilled to unskilled labor, to supervision, management, and ownership. It is our responsibility as an Association to introduce the future labor force to the opportunities in the electrical industry through education and mentoring.
